BARDICHANSKY V. PALESTINIAN AUTHORITY

On the morning of August 7, 1999, Eduard Bardichansky left Sanur and headed home. He made a wrong turn and arrived at a Palestinian barrier, near the village of Adja, which was manned by two Palestinian officers.

The officers shot and wounded Bardichansky with weapons provided by the Palestinian Authority. They then drove him to a nearby olive grove, where they shot him to death, burned his body and car. The plaintiffs are Bardichansky’s surviving family- his wife and two sons, and they are suing for damages.
